Manchester United Rocked By Wes Brown Injury
Manchester United's defensive injury curse has struck once again with the news that Wes Brown will be out of action for four to six weeks. The defender was taken off at half-time in the victory over Wolves at the weekend and will now miss the visit of AC Milan as well as crucial Premier League ties against Liverpool and Chelsea.
Brown's career has been blighted with injury and this latest setback will also be a major cause for concern for England manager Fabio Capello. Brown played at right-back for the full 90 minutes in England's recent 3-1 win over Egypt and his versatility make him a key component of England's World Cup squad.
With Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville struggling for both form and fitness there are growing concerns over whether Manchester United's defensive resources have been stretched too far in their pursuit of the title. However, Alex Ferguson's men remain 11/8 favourites with Bet365 to make it four Premier League titles in a row.
