Wayne Rooney Could Make Shock Return From Injury

Reports have been circulating around Old Trafford and from some media outlets that Wayne Rooney could make a sensational return to first team action against Bayern Munich this week, just one week after being pictured hobbling out of the Allianz Arena on crutches.

The initial prognosis suggested that Rooney would be out of action for up to four weeks but after falling to defeat to Chelsea without their talisman, Alex Ferguson will be keen to get him back as soon as possible.
