Borthwick Fit For Guinness Premiership Final

Saracens skipper Steve Borthwick is expected to be in the starting line-up for Saturday’s Rugby Union Premiership final against Leicester.

Borthwick has been out of action since March when he aggravated an old knee injury while playing for England against Scotland in a Six Nations match. The “wear and tear” injury has meant that he has been left out of this summer’s England squad to tour Australia and New Zealand.

He was also forced to sit out the remainder of the Guinness Premiership season but Saracens still managed to go on and finish third to secure their place in the semi-finals. A 21-19 victory over Northampton last weekend means that they now have the opportunity to take on league toppers Leicester in this Guinness Premiership final.

Leicester are the 4/7 favourites with Paddy Power (Go to Paddy Power ») to win the match whilst Saracens can be backed at 15/8 with Sportingbet (Go to Sportingbet ») .
