Formula One Betting European Grand Prix

In spite of initial suggestions that Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button might find it difficult driving for the same team this season things are looking very rosy for the McLaren team at present.

After eight races of the 2010 Formula One season Hamilton tops the Drivers’ Championship with 109 points, Button is three points behind in second place and McLaren lead the Constructors’ Championship with 215 points. Hamilton and Button have also finished 1-2 in the last two Grand Prix’s.

Now the drivers are in Valencia, Spain for the European Grand Prix looking to make it a hat-trick of successes for the McLaren team. Lewis Hamilton is the betting joint-favourite alongside Fernando Alonso who races in his home country, both drivers can be backed for the win at odds of 5/2 with Bet365.

If you think Button can reclaim number one status among the British drivers then he is a 9/1 chance to win the race with Boyle Sports.

And despite protestations from within the Red Bull camp, drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber have yet to put the troubles of Turkey behind them and get back to winning ways. The German is a 4/1 chance to win this weekend and the Australian 13/2.
