Next Fulham Manager Betting

Roy Hodgson has now completed his switch to take over as Liverpool manager leaving the hot seat at Fulham vacant. It is early days in the hunt for a successor but given the prolonged nature of Hodgson’s departure it would be fair to assume that the Fulham board should, and probably will, have been drawing up a list of potential candidates weeks ago.

The next Fulham FC manager betting suggests that Alan Curbishley will head that list and he can be backed at odds of 11/4 with Skybet. The former West Ham manager has been out of football management for nearly two years now and would fit the mould of a Fulham manager who may have to work within a specified budget and limited resources.

If, however, chairman Mohamed Al Fayed decides to splash some of the cash received from his sale of Harrods then Mark Hughes could prove to be a popular appointment. The expansive style of football which he rolled out at Eastlands when manager of Manchester City is a far cry from the solid defensive reputation that Hodgson built up over the last two years, but it may just be the clean break from the Hodgson-era that the club needs. Hughes can be backed at 5/1 with Victor Chandler.
