Australia v Pakistan 1st Twenty20 Cricket Betting

Australia and Pakistan will do battle on English soil over the next month beginning with today’s first of two Twenty20 internationals at Edgbaston.

Australia go into the match on the back of an ODI series defeat to England, but having won the final two matches of that series in convincing fashion. Pakistan will be keen to avenge the dramatic semi-final loss that they suffered at the hands of the Aussies in the recent T20 World Cup in the Caribbean.

In truth Pakistan were in a commanding position throughout that Tweny20 semi-final and but for the heroics of Michael Hussey they would have played England in the final. Australia cannot rely on Hussey providing another match winning total and will need to restrict Pakistan to something more manageable than the 191 that they scored in St Lucia.

One man who wasn’t involved in that match is the blistering Shaun Tait who was deadly against England on Saturday. He could be pivotal in the outcome of this match.
