Premier League Transfer Rumours 08 July

Some will win, some will lose, some were born to sing the blues.... but which of the day’s Premier League transfer rumours are to be believed.....

Manchester United;
It appears that certain residents of ‘Fleet Street’ were on the ball when suggesting that Manchester United were set to make a bid for Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder, that is according to Inter Milan President Massimo Moratti. However, the Italian supremo fully expects the World Cup finalist to be playing his football at the San Siro next season.

Arsenal;

Morning reports suggest that both Arsenal and Liverpool are looking to sign England winger Shaun Wright-Phillips as Manchester City look to offload the player. Quite why Asrene Wenger would look to a player who has been vastly overrated through it his career is beyond us. Maybe, just maybe, it has something to do with the fact that the reports come from The Sun, where, entirely coincidentally we’re sure, Ian Wright is a featured columnist.

Manchester City;
According to The Guardian City are set to make a final bid of £24million for much coveted midfielder James Milner, should the offer be refused they will turn their attentions elsewhere. Thus suggesting that City are actually ready to play hardball when it comes to some of their summer dealings.

Sunderland;
The Daily Mail suggests that The Black Cats will enter the race to sign Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan but will face competition from West Ham. Gyan missed a decisive penalty at the end of extra-time in Ghana’s quarter-final match against Uruguay but did score three goals throughout the tournament.
