England v Bangladesh 3rd ODI Betting

Bangladesh secured their first ever win over England on Saturday in Bristol and in doing so levelled the series at 1-1. Now they have a chance to record an unlikely series win over the nation that many were considering to be the best in limited overs cricket.

Ian Bell’s broken foot may have contributed to Bangladesh’s win, but that is to take nothing away from the tourists who were clinical with the ball. Pundits and commentators will often speak of the threat that Bangladesh posses with the bat, but then counter that with a derogatory comment about their bowling attributes. Saturday’s performance was the complete reverse as the so called minnows of top level cricket managed to defend a meagre total.

If their batsmen can fire today then they will fancy their chances of causing a massive upset by taking the series and perhaps leaving England’s selectors ruing the decision to rest Kevin Pietersen and Graeme Swann for this series.

Ravi Bopara
has been called up to the England squad to replace the injured Bell and celebrated the recall in great style by making his maiden Twenty20 century against Somerset yesterday. Back him at 8/1 with Totesport to top score for England.

For Bangladesh it is worth siding with Tamim Iqbal once more (11/4 with Ladbrokes), he has looked threatening in the two previous ODI’s without yet going on to make a big score. The stage could be set for him to record an historic victory for The Tigers.
