Premier League Transfer Rumours 12 July

‘Wax on, wax off...’ Nigel de Jong loves the original ‘Karate Kid’ trilogy but isn’t a fan of the remake, and he used the biggest stage in world sport to show just how upset he really is. Nigel, we share your pain.

Chelsea;
It is no secret that Ashley Cole could be tempted by a move to Real Madrid. In fact if he doesn’t chose to move on his own accord we are thinking of starting a petition to banish him there for the heinous crime of cheating on wor Cheryl.

Should Cole decide to move or our petition is successful then Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly keen on bringing in Benfica left-back Fabio Coentrao.

West Ham;

Avram Grant is reported to be looking to bring in the nice Nice forward Loic Remy. However, the French club could be pricing him out of the market by asking for too much money, with the player stating "[they] are asking for a lot of money."

Liverpool;
Every silver lining has a cloud. Fernando Torres may have just added a World Cup winner’s medal to his cabinet, but he could now miss the opening month of the season due to a groin injury and thus scupper his chances of moving away from Anfield.

Manchester City;
Stories about City being interested in Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko just won’t disappear despite the player’s huge price tag apparently being a stumbling block. The Telegraph today reports that Roque Santa Cruz could be offered to the German side in a player-plus-cash deal.
