Premier League Transfer Rumours 21 July

A very brief overview of the Premier League transfer rumours that are filing our national newspapers today....

Manchester City;
With Aston Villa apparently playing hardball over City’s move for England midfielder James Milner, Roberto Mancini is reported to be turning his attentions to Brazilian midfielder Ramires.

The Daily Mail also reports that Mario Balotelli could make a £23million switch from Inter Milan to Easltands, whilst the Sun say that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be staying with Barcelona.

Manchester United;
Despite Sir Alex Ferguson stating that he is happy with his squad and that they are unlikely to bring in any more players the Sun are persisting with the Mesut Ozil to Old Trafford story.

Chelsea;
The Blues are being reported to have had a £16.9million bid for Brazilian youngster Neymar turned down.

Arsenal;
This Cesc Fabregas saga is starting to get a bit out of hand. Barcelona and Spain midfielder Xavi is the latest to get in on the act, claiming that Arsenal merely have the player on loan from the Catalan club and that The Gunners are only delaying the inevitable by not allowing the player to leave this summer.

Tottenham;
Those boys at the Sun have been rather busy today. The paper also claims that Raul (of Real Madrid and Spain fame) could be on his way to Spurs with the player reportedly sounding out agent Barry O’Connor to find him a Premier League club.
