Premier League Transfer Rumours 29 July

Hey Jude, don’t make it bad. Take a Premier League transfer rumour, and make it better....

Liverpool;

Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson could turn to Aston Villa midfielder Stiliyan Petrov to fill the void left by Javier Mascherano’s impending departure. However, attempts to sign Villa defender Luke Young have hit a stumbling block with the player looking for a pay-off from Aston villa.

West Ham;
The Sun are this morning reporting that David Beckham has promised to give a decision soon as to whether he will end his career with The Hammers. Beckham could move to Upton Park in the January transfer window.

Manchester United;

United are today being linked with Danish goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard, who currently plays for Norwegian side Aalesunds. Ghanaian defender Anthony Annan is also on Sir Alex Ferguson’s shopping list.

Wigan;

The Latics are reportedly preparing a £7million bid for Chilean striker Humberto Suazo, although Birmingham and Sunderland are also said to be monitoring the situation.

Blackpool;
The Premier League new boys are in talks with Ipswich striker Jonathan Stead. As any Sunderland fan will tell you... DON’T DO IT!

Fulham;

I think we’ve been here before, but certain areas of the media are already linking players with Fulham before new manager Mark Hughes has officially been installed. Craig Bellamy being the most obvious one, because of course he used to play for Hughes at Manchester City.
