Juddmonte International Stakes Betting

York’s Ebor Meeting gets underway today with the Juddmonte International Stakes taking centre stage. Unfortunately fate has robbed us of the opportunity to see Harbinger follow up his jaw dropping King George victory, but it still remains a fascinating and high quality race.

The Aidan O’Brien trained Rip Van Winkle is likely to go off as the favourite and can currently be backed at 9/4 with Bet365. His narrow second place finish to Canford Cliffs in the Sussex Stakes suggests that he certainly still has the ability.

Prince Khalid Abdullah owns the next two horses in the betting. Byword will go off as the second favourite at 3/1 with Twice Over available to back at 11/2 to follow up his victory in the Coral Eclipse last month.

Another horse who has finished second to Canford Cliffs recently is Dick Turpin. There are stamina doubts over the Richard Hannon trained horse but odds of 11/2 make him a very appealing each-way bet with Bet365.

Godolphin have two runners in the Frankie Dettori ridden 20/1 chance Cavalryman and the kieron Fallon mount Cutlass Bay who can be backed at 33/1.
