Darley Yorkshire Oaks Betting

York’s Ebor meeting continues at breakneck speed today with another star studded day of racing. The Darley Yorkshire Oaks is the main race of the day with Sariska taking on Midday reigniting rivalries.

Sariska came out on top when the two crossed paths at York three months ago in the Middleton Stakes. Midday has since gone on to justify favouritism in the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood last month when Tom Queally rode the filly to victory whilst Sariska was subsequently beaten by Fame and Glory in the Coronation Cup.

With such impressive CVs to boot it is no surprise to see these two four-year-olds head the betting for the Darley Yorkshire Oaks. William Hill are 9/4 about Sariska winning the race and 11/4 for Midday to reverse that Middleton Stakes result.

Snow Fairy is the only other horse given much of a chance by the bookmakers. The Ed Dunlop trained horse has already won the Investec Oaks and the Irish Oaks this year and is a 10/3 chance to add today’s race to that list.
