Belgian Grand Prix Betting
Formula One returns this weekend after the summer break with the drivers’ and constructors’ championships carefully poised.
Mark Webber goes in to the Belgian Grand Prix just four points ahead of Lewis Hamilton in the race to become World Champion with Sebastian Vettel a further six points back. Red Bull head the constructors’ table from McLaren by eight points but Ferrari shouldn’t be discounted just yet after their drivers – Fernando Alonso and Felippe Massa – came to the fore before the break.
The Belgian Grand Prix betting has Vettel as the clear favourite, Sportingbet offering odds of 5/2 on him winning in Belgium. Alonso is the second favourite to win the race at odds of 9/4 and championship leader Webber is a 4/1 chance.
McLaren’s poor run of results means that the British contingent of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button can be backed at 5/1 and 14/1 respectively.
