AC Milan Betting Season 2010/11

AC Milan are now without a Scudetto to their name since winning the Serie A title in the 2003-04 season, and worse still they have been forced to watch their city rivals lift the trophy for the last five consecutive years. However, that could all be about to change.

The deadline day signing of Brazilian striker Robinho from Manchester City followed hot on the heels of the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Barcelona to form one of the most fearsome strike forces in European football. Throw into the mix the likes of Ronaldinho, Clarence Seedorf, Andrea Pirlo and Oguchi Onyewu and it isn’t difficult to see why many sense the winds of change in Italy.

Outside factors are also contributing to the belief that Milan could return to prominence this season. Inter are now without the manager who masterminded recent success, Jose Mourinho, instead they have a manager who masterminded Liverpool’s downfall, Rafael Benitez.

Bookmaker Bodog are currently offering a best price of 5/2 about AC Milan winning the Serie A title this season. They have also been drawn in the Champions League group of death alongside Real Madrid and Ajax, but if they can progress from that then odds of 25/1 on them lifting the trophy that they last won in 2007 are sure to plummet.

With the addition of two of the world’s best strikers AC Milan could be ready to once again reign supreme across Europe.
