Scotland v Liechtenstein Betting Preview

In a group that contains both Spain and Czech Republic many believed that Scotland needed maximum points from their opening two games against Lithuania and Liechtenstein. A 0-0 draw in Kaunas means that that is now not possible, anything other than a win at home to Liechtenstein tonight and they can forget about Euro 2012 qualification, even at this embryonic stage of proceedings.

Craig Levein
has named an attacking side for the game which includes Kris Boyd, James McFadden and Kenny Miller as they go in search of that win. Heart’s midfielder Lee Wallace also comes in for the injured Steven Whittaker.

Liechtenstein were beaten 4-0 by Spain on Friday night but being played off the park by Spain is not something to be ashamed of. They’ve been doing the same to anyone who stands in their way for around three years now.

Blue Square’s odds of 1/10 on a home win here are not likely to tempt many and we need to dig a little deeper to find a worthwhile bet. Scotland -2 goals at 5/6 with Betfred looks a good bet, as does the 11/4 on Kris Boyd to get the opening goal of the game.
