Republic of Ireland v Andorra Betting Preview
Republic of Ireland negotiated a tricky tie in Armenia on Friday night to get off to the perfect start in their Group B qualifying campaign. A Keith Fahey strike was enough to secure a 1-0 win at a venue where Belgium were recently beaten and even Spain only managed a narrow 2-1 win.
Tonight’s match against Andorra should be an altogether much more straight forward affair. They were beaten 2-0 by Russia in their opening match on Friday evening and are expected to be the ‘whipping boys’ of the group.
Therefore it stands to reason that you cannot get any better odds than the 1/33 that Stan James are offering about an Irish win with a whopping 80/1 available on the away win.
Robbie Keane is just 2/7 to score at anytime in the game, Kevin Doyle is 4/9 and Shane Long 4/5 in the same market. Odds on who will open the scoring are a little more rewarding where Keane is 2/1, Doyle 5/2 and Long 7/2.
The question is how many will Republic of Ireland score? Over 3.5 goals is a generous 11/10 and Over 4.5 is 13/8.
