Ronnie OSullivan v Stephen Hendry World Open Snooker Betting
Jimmy White showed in glimpses that he can still mix it with the best but was ultimately outclassed by Ronnie O’Sullivan yesterday. Today O’Sullivan meets another legend of the game in Stephen Hendry in another eagerly anticipated clash.
The pair have met on 31 previous occasions with The Rocket leading the head to heads by 18 wins to Hendry’s 10 – there have been three draws between the two. Although Hendry has comfortably dispatched Bjorn Haneveer and Mark Davis already this week I don’t see him getting a result today.
Hendry remains one of the best when in amongst the balls but tends to make too many mistakes these days. If Ronnie plays the same way that he has done all week then it is certain that the Scot will be punished for those errors.
Stan James offer odds of 4/9 on O’Sullivan winning the match, Hendry is 7/4, and I also like the look of 3-0 and 3-1 score lines which can be backed at odds of 3/1 and 11/4 respectively.
