X-Factor 2010 Early Betting Odds
The judges’ decisions were made known last night as contestants travelled to the homes of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Danni Mingoue for the final audition stage of this year’s X-factor.
Danni, in charge of the boys, chose Matt Cardle, Aiden Grimshaw and Nicolo Festa to represent her in the competition. Cheryl went for Rebecca Ferguson, Katie Waissel and, despite a poor final audition, Cher Lloyd. Simon chose the two groups that he put together at the boot camp stage One Direction and Belle Aime as well as boy group FYD. And finally, Louis Walsh chose John Adeleye, Storm Lee and Mary Byrne in the over 28 category.
The bookmakers have given their opinion on proceedings and make Matt Cardle (the one with the train driver hat) the betting favourite to win at this very early stage. Bet365
offer odds of 10/3 and Louis Walsh has also admitted that he is the one that they all have to beat.
One Direction take second favouritism at odds of 7/2, they can be expected to attract the all important ‘high school vote’, Rebecca Ferguson is third favourite at odds of 4/1 and Cher Lloyd is a 6/1 chance to overcome her nerves and fulfil her potential.
