X-Factor Twist Betting

At the conclusion of Sunday’s X-Factor show it was announced that there would be a surprise twist next weekend. Speculation was rife for all of ten minutes as to what that ‘twist’ might be, then it was widely agreed that the special twist would be that each judge gets a fourth pick and then the public vote on who enters the competition for real.

That is why despite not making Cheryl Cole’s top three Gamu Nhengu can currently be backed at odds of as short as 4/1 to win this year’s X-Factor.

There was public outrage – on Twitter and Facebook – when Cheryl did not pick the Zimbabwean teenager to go on to the live show and it is expected that she will feature in Saturday’s special X-Factor twist. Over 150,000 people have joined the Facebook group ‘Gamu should have gone through’ and judging by the mass hysteria you would think that Cole had beaten up a small child then strangled a kitten live on TV.
