X Factor Betting Odds Update

Can Wagner stay another week? Can Wagner win the X Factor? Whatever your opinion on the man Wagner is the name on everybody’s lips in this year’s X Factor contest.

Ever since the opening week he has been one of the favoured acts to go, but as campaigns to get behind the Brazilian on social network sites gather pace Wagner is going nowhere in a hurry. This week Betfred make him a 10/3 chance to be eliminated, but that is longer odds than Treyc Cohen and Katie Waissel and only slightly shorter then Paije Richardson.

Whilst other unpopular acts remain in the contest the support behind Wagner is enough to keep him in the competition and once again he can be expected to go through to the next show.

At the top of the betting there is a near three way tie for favouritism as to who will win the show. Matt Cardle, One Direction and Rebecca Ferguson are all generally available to back at around the 3/1 mark.

Following her performance in last week’s show Cher Lloyd’s odds on winning were almost slashed in half and she is now a general 11/2 shot to win it. After that quartet we are looking at double figure prices on anyone else being named the X Factor 2010 winner.
