Premier League Darts Betting Newcastle

There is just one issue still to be determined at the Newcastle Arena this Thursday evening and that is who will join Phil Taylor, Gary Anderson and Raymond van Barneveld in the Premier League semi-finals next week.

Simon Whitlock and Adrian Lewis are the two players vying for a top four finish but it is the World Champion that holds the upper hand ahead of tonight’s fixtures.

Lewis needs just a point from his match against Anderson in order to guarantee his progression to the knockout stages. Even if he loses Whitlock will still need to beat Taylor and overturn an eight-leg deficit in the legs-difference column in order to progress. The odds are heavily stacked in Lewis’s favour.

Bookmaker Victor Chandler (Go to VCBet ») price Lewis at odds of 6/4 to get the win that would confirm his top-four status wile Anderson is priced at 11/10 to give Whitlock the opportunity of progressing. The draw is priced at 4/1.

Whitlock is the 6/1 outsider in his match against league-leader Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, a draw at odds of 6/1 wouldn’t be good enough for the Aussie. Taylor is 1/4 to extend his Premier League winning streak to 13 matches.
