Fergie to stick with young guns
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that he intends to stick with his policy of fielding Manchester United's youngsters in the Carling Cup for Sunday's final. His side face holders Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley and rather than turn to his big-name stars to bring home a trophy, the United boss is planning to carry on with those who got them there. He admitted that doing so in the semi-final raised some eyebrows, but added: "I didn't have any regrets because I knew that long-term, the lads wouldn't let me down and that I was pursuing the right policy."Meanwhile, Spurs are set to welcome back their first-choice players after manager Harry Redknapp rested several during last night's Uefa Cup exit at the hands of Shakhtar Donetsk. They currently lie 13 places below Premier League leaders United and sports betting fans can get odds of 9/2 that they will pull off an upset.
