Injury blow for Bulls' Solomona

Bradford Bulls have been rocked by the news that David Solomona is facing up to three months on the sidelines. The former New Zealand international picked a shoulder injury in the draw against Hull Kingston Rovers two weeks ago and a scan has revealed that surgery is required. And coach Steve McNamara received another blow ahead of tomorrow's visit of Huddersfield Giants, with Jamie Langley suffering from a similar problem.Langley will not need an operation, meaning he could return within three weeks. But McNamara explained that Solomona may be out for four times as long, describing the loss as "disappointing"."You keep your fingers crossed, do all the rehab and prehab to try and prevent them but they were just two freakish injuries," said the coach.Bradford's game against Hull KR was their only match of the season so far, a late drop-goal denying them a winning start.Sports betting fans can get odds of 12/1 that the Bulls will win the Super League title, making them third favourites behind last year's grand finalists - Leeds Rhinos and St Helens.
