Webber claims he will be 100% for F1 opener

German Mark Webber has denied claims that he will not be 100 per cent fit in time for the first Grand Prix of the 2009 Formula One season in Melbourne on March 29th.The Red Bull driver, who broke his right leg in a collision with a car while riding a bike in November, stated that his recovery is going well and he considers himself to be on schedule."There's been some stuff in the press that I won't be 100 per cent fit for Melbourne," he remarked. "I will be 100 per cent ready to do my job."Webber is currently the ninth favourite to win the F1 title this season in the motor racing betting, while Red Bull are fifth favourites to take the constructors' crown.Reigning champions Lewis Hamilton of McLaren-Mercedes and Ferrari are expected to retain their championships in the respective competitions, according to the odds.
