Leeds will get stronger, says McClennan
Leeds Rhinos coach Brian McClennan has stated that his side will recover from their third Super League defeat of the season. The defending champions slipped to third place after a 30-20 home loss to Salford City Reds followed a 10-6 defeat to Bradford Bulls on Good Friday.Salford had led 22-6 early in the second half before Leeds began a fightback - scoring three tries to give the Headingley crowd hope. But Jordan Turner's late interception try gave the Reds their first victory over Leeds in the Super League era and left McClennan with plenty to think about."We have to keep believing in ourselves and our systems," he said, adding: "We will come out of this and we will come out of it stronger."St Helens, meanwhile, secured their lead at the top of the table with a 44-22 win over Hull and are now favourites to take the title at 5/6 with Stan James, while the Rhinos are priced 7/4 in the online sports betting market.
