Hatton's future in question
Ricky Hatton has revealed that he is uncertain as to whether his career as a boxer will continue. The British fighter was stunned by a second-round knockout against Manny Pacquiao at the weekend and told Sky Sports News that he may hang up his gloves.Hatton explained that he has strong aspirations to become the "greatest promoter in the world", but that he has not yet made a decision about his future in the ring as he was not expecting the outcome of Saturday's bout in Las Vegas."As far as physically boxing myself, I don't know what I'm going to do at the minute," he told the news source. William Hill is offering odds of 2/1 that Hatton will retire, while Pacquiao is expected to now face Floyd Mayweather, who has announced that he is coming out of retirement. The bookmaker prices a Pacquiao victory in such an event at 6/5, with Mayweather rated at 8/13.
