Higham 'gutted about injury'
Warrington Wolves' Mickey Higham has expressed his displeasure at being ruled out of rugby league play for up to 12 weeks. The hooker sustained a torn bicep in a 34-18 victory over the Castlefield Tigers on Saturday, with subsequent scans revealing the extent of the injury. "I'm absolutely gutted because we were just hitting a bit of form and sadly I'll not be part of it," he said. Former St Helens player Higham confirmed that he would undergo an operation on Wednesday to re-attach the muscle, but he may not be fit enough to play against Wigan in the Wolves' Challenge Cup semi-final in August. The Wolves have 12 games until the end of the season, plus any play-offs, and the 28-year old Higham stated that he was looking forward to "[getting] a bit of game time" if he heals in time.Skybet (Go to Skybet ») is finding it difficult to choose between Warrington and Wigan for the upcoming Challenge Cup match and has both teams at 10/11. Odds on the draw are available at 18/1 with Bet365 (Go to Bet365 »).
