Coilek tipped for Tour de France honours
Bernard Hinault, a former winner of the Tour de France on multiple occasions, has suggested that young cyclist Gerald Ciolek might turn a few heads at this year's event. The five-time victor has predicted the German could pick up at least one stage win, although he doubts that he will be the champion. He said: "He doesn't have the legs to be the overall winner, but he certainly could worry the leaders and win some stages." Frenchman Hinault also called Ciolek an "excellent rider" and believes his team, Milram, should cope very well after the retirement of sprinter Erik Zabel.New leader Ciolek left Columbia after Mark Cavendish became the central focus of his former team. Alberto Contador is the favourite to be the outright winner of this year's Tour de France and is available at 10/11 with Bet365 (Go to Bet365 »). Lance Armstrong returns to the competition after coming out of retirement recently and Betfred (Go to Betfred ») has him at 5/1.
