F1 odds - Mansell favours Button
Nigel Mansell has stated he picked Jenson Button to win this year's British Grand Prix, but admitted he thinks the pressure may be getting to the 29-year-old. Mansell - who won the 1992 Formula One World Championship for Williams - said that when he took a commanding lead in the tournament that year he "thrived" on the pressure, however, he thinks Button seems less inclined to take advantage.
He remarked: "I predicted that Jenson would win the British Grand Prix this year, but instead what I saw that weekend was him tighten up a bit under the strain."
Button is 16 points ahead of his Brawn teammate Rubens Barrichello, with five races left to complete - a position in which Mansell feels he should have the championship "sewn up".
WBX(Go to WBX ») currently has Button at 11/1 to win this weekend's Italian Grand Prix, while fellow Brit Lewis Hamilton is the race favourite at 5/2 with Sportingbet(Go to Sportingbet »).
