F1 Odds - Barrichello Is Closest Rival, Says Button
Brawn GP driver Jenson Button has admitted that his teammate Rubens Barrichello is his biggest challenge for the Formula One World Championship this year. The duo finished second and first respectively at this weekend's Italian Grand Prix, with Button having his lead reduced by two points in the process.
With Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettell coming in eighth, it is almost certain that a Brawn victory is on the cards, but Button denies this will allow him to ease off the pace.
Commenting on his stable mate Barrichello, the Brit said: "We have a good relationship, but we are very competitive people, so I am sure we are going to take it down to the wire."
The 29-year-old also stated that he was going into the Singapore Grand Prix "hoping for a great result".
Button is currently Ladbrokes'(Go to Ladbrokes ») favourite at 1/5 to win the championship this year, while Italian Barrichello is available at 7/2 with Skybet(Go to Skybet »).
