Henderson Contract To Affect Wildcats Betting?
Kevin Henderson has a signed a new contract that will keep him at Wakefield Wildcats until 2011.The Scotsman, who is the current Wakefield Express Best and Fairest Player of the Year Award holder, has made 74 appearances for the club since joining from Leigh Centurions in 2005 and suggested he is looking to make the next two years a success.
He told Wakefield's official website: "The plan is to improve year on year and we were top six this year so we want to make the top four next year."
The Wildcats finished fifth in the Super League table this season, but were knocked out of the playoffs by eighth-placed Catalans Dragons 25-16 last week.
In the Grand Final winner betting, the Dragons are the rank outsiders at 28/1 with Boyle Sports(Go to Boyle Sports ») and are expected by the bookmakers to lose to Huddersfield Giants this week, with Bet365(Go to Bet365 ») offering 4/11 on a victory for the Yorkshire team.
