F1 Japanese Grand Prix Betting Odds - Button Pledges To Work Hard
Brawn GP driver Jenson Button has stated he will put maximum effort into this weekend's Formula One Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka. Despite being able to win the 2010 Championship if he can beat teammate Rubens Barrichello by five points in Sunday's (October 4th) event, the British racer has confirmed he is not thinking of victory just yet and is more concerned with putting in a good performance.
"The most important thing I can do is work as hard as I can on Friday and Saturday to get the car right for qualifying and the race," he remarked.
According to Button, there are still three possible winners for this year's tournament - including himself - and anything can happen between now and the end of the season.
Even though he is known for his wet weather skills, the 29-year-old also claimed he is hoping for dry conditions.
Stan James(Go to Stan James ») currently has Button at 9/1 to romp home first at Suzuka, while Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel is Victor Chandler's(Go to VCBet ») favourite with odds of 5/2 available.
