Snooker Betting News - Ronnie Admits Higgins Has No Weakness
World number one snooker player Ronnie O'Sullivan has admitted that John Higgins has no holes in his game ahead of the pair's second-round match-up in the Grand Prix at Glasgow today (October 7th). 'Rocket' Ronnie booked his place in the next stage by defeating Scotsman Jamie Burnett 5-3 and was quick to praise his upcoming opponent.
"John and I have had some great battles over the years. He has no weak areas so I will have to raise my game," he said.
O'Sullivan is the favourite in the clash, with Stan James(Go to Stan James ») offering odds of 4/7 on him winning, but punters may be interested to hear that the three-time World Championship victor has hinted to a dip in form.
He noted that "playing well" is not currently the top of his agenda and that making it through the games is the most important thing.
Those looking to bet on Higgins - also a three-time Crucible champion - can find him at 11/10 with Paddy Power(Go to Paddy Power »).
