Rugby League Betting News - St Helens 'in Form' For Grand Final
St Helens will be in form for the Super League Grand Final against Leeds Rhinos on Saturday (October 10th), Chris Flannery has stated. The Saints utility back rower said that while the team's performance at the tail-end of the season has been poor, winning crucial games has given them a confidence boost.
"It's [the side's form] just starting to get back to where we want it and I think we are peaking at the right time," he remarked.
Leeds have pipped the Merseysiders in the Grand Final for the last two seasons, despite St Helens finishing top of the table on both occasions.
Flannery admits his squad are "going in as the underdogs", but noted that the two clubs both hold a win over each other this campaign, with Saturday's clash being the decider.
Supporting Flannery's analysis, Sportingbet(Go to Sportingbet ») currently has Leeds as the favourites at 4/9, while 6/4 odds of St Helens winning are available with Boyle Sports(Go to Boyle Sports »).
