Rugby League Betting - King Leaves Hull
Hull FC have announced that Paul King has left the club by mutual consent.The prop forward was the squad's longest serving player after joining in 1998 as a teenager and was part of the team's 2005 Challenge Cup winning side.
Chief executive James Rule said: "Paul has had a long career with Hull FC and was rightly rewarded with a testimonial in recognition of that service."
Commenting on his decision to part company with Hull, King stated that while he has "loved every minute" of his time with the club, he feels it is "right to move on".
According to the 30-year-old, he holds "wonderful memories" from his years of service and wishes the side the best of luck for the upcoming season.
Hull are currently considered an outside bet to win next year's Super League, with Bet365(Go to Bet365 ») offering odds of 25/1 on them lifting the trophy, while Boyle Sports(Go to Boyle Sports ») has Leeds as the 5/4 favourites.
