Formula One legend Michael Schumacher is set to return to the sport next season, having stated that he is now over a neck injury that prevented a comeback this year. The seven-time world champion will be racing for Mercedes in the 2010 campaign and told Autocar.co.uk that he has regained a lot of the energy he felt had been missing when he retired in 2006.
Commenting on his fitness, Schumacher was quick to point out that he is fully recovered from damage sustained while racing a motorcycle earlier this year.
He remarked: "Before I gave the final okay, I made sure that I worked it out myself to be sure myself. And I can say 100 per cent that the neck is no further an issue.
