Brough Off To The Giants
Huddersfield Giants have confirmed the signing of Scottish international Danny Brough on a four-and-a-half-year contract.The player has joined from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, in a move that sees two forwards - Michael Korkidas and Danny Kirmond - shift in the opposite direction.
His first game for his new club will be against St Helens, with Betfair(Go to Betfair ») offering odds of 12/25 that he will get off to a winning start.
Brough links up with a unit that are 5/1 at Bet365(Go to Bet365 ») to finish the regular season on top and the 28-year-old will be hoping to help them up the table.
"The Huddersfield squad is very strong and I'm looking forward to getting stuck into training with them and trying to force my way into the team," he added.
His latest coach, Nathan Brown, thinks that he has pulled of a real coup with the signing and is excited to see how Brough will fit into the side.
