Button Wants To 'get Back To Winning Ways'
Current world champion Jenson Button is looking forward to getting his Formula One title defence back on track at the Australian grand prix. The Englishman came home seventh in the first outing of the year and he is best priced at 14/1 with Coral(Go to Coral ») to win the next race.
Button noted that the course, which requires a lot of downforce, should suit him well and is confident that he will be able to repeat the result from 2009, when he was crowned victor.
"Lewis [Hamilton] has had a good time here before and I have, it's treating us well this circuit so hopefully we can get a good result," he added.
The 30-year-old also tipped Mark Webber to perform better at his home track, observing that a mistake in qualifying had cost him dearly in Bahrain.
Both McLaren drivers are behind the Ferrari's in the betting, with Fernando Alonso 9/4 at Victor Chandler(Go to VCBet ») to follow his opening-day win with another.
