Lee Smith Goes Back To Leeds
Leeds Rhinos have re-signed Lee Smith from London Wasps after the young centre enjoyed a disappointing spell in rugby union. He only left the club at the start of the season, but the 23-year-old has decided to come back to rugby league, after asking Wasps to be released from his contract for personal reasons.
"I wanted to try rugby union and unfortunately I couldn't achieve that goal for various reasons that I don't want to get into," he told BBC Radio Leeds.
His new team play the Bradford Bulls tonight (April 1st) and Ladbrokes(Go to Ladbrokes ») is offering odds of 1/3 that they will emerge victorious.
The Rhinos are also favourites to win the Super League Grand Final - Boyle Sports(Go to Boyle Sports ») has odds of 5/2 on them succeeding.
Smith will be hoping to slot right back into the side, especially as they have already lost four players to long-term injury this year.
