Don't Underestimate Schumacher, Says Expert

People should not underestimate Michael Schumacher, his boss has said.

Mercedes GP chief Nick Fry said that anyone who does would be "fairly foolish".

The German has returned to the sport after three years out and has been outperformed by his teammate - Nico Rosberg - so far this season.

He is 19/1 with Betfair(Go to Betfair ») to win the next Formula One outing in China, while Bet365(Go to Bet365 ») have him at 40/1 to win the overall championship.

But Fry told autosport.com he is extremely impressed by Schumacher's dedication to the team.

"When you have the headphones on you hear amazing things. In qualifying he was driving around almost giving a commentary," he told the news provider.

Fry added that with every race he is learning more, while it is all starting to come "together slowly but surely".

Sebastian Vettel is the bookies favourite to claim the crown this year - Sportingbet(Go to Sportingbet ») is offering odds of 17/10 on the German.
