Mark Selby 'knows O'Sullivan Will Be Tough'

Mark Selby accepts that he faces a tough challenge against Ronnie O'Sullivan in the quarter-finals of the World Snooker Championships.

The Jester from Leicester was in impressive form as he dispatched seven-time champion Stephen Hendry 13-5, having been 4-2 down at one stage.

Selby is the outsider with the bookies for the tie, with Expekt(Go to Expekt ») offering odds of 39/29 on the 26-year-old.

He is 9/2 with William Hill(Go to William Hill ») to go the whole the way and win the tournament, having previously made the final in 2007.

The potter admitted that "Ronnie's not got that many weaknesses" and remarked its "hard to pick some out if you were looking at any".

But he noted that because O'Sullivan's expectations are so high, he will always be upset unless he delivers perfection.

Selby can also take heart from the fact that he beat him a couple of months ago in the Masters final.

O'Sullivan progressed to this stage after a hard-fought win over former champion Mark Williams, with the Rocket eventually prevailing 13-10.
