Roberto Mancini 'wants Togetherness For Champions League Push'
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has said that he is ready to sell any player that is not committed to the cause. The Italian was talking after Carlos Tevez, the club's top goalscorer with 28 goals, reportedly criticised his training methods.
City are chasing fourth place in the Premier League as they seek to qualify for Europe and they face a crunch showdown with Aston Villa this weekend (May 1st).
They will be at home for the encounter and they are 10/11 with Skybet(Go to Skybet ») to emerge victorious from the game, while Villa are 7/2 with Victor Chandler(Go to VCBet »).
Both teams know that the three points will reinforce their Champions League credentials and Mancini wants to see togetherness.
"For Tevez, for all players, if he is not happy to stay here it's better he goes to another team," he said.
The manager recently remarked that he would not consider his first season in England as a failure if his club were to finish fifth.
