Keane to make Tottenham return
Striker Robbie Keane has resigned for Tottenham Hotspur six months after leaving White Hart Lane for a stint at Anfield.Spurs purchased the Irish international for &163;8.3 million less than they sold him to Liverpool for last summer.Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy told the club's official website: "We never wanted Robbie to leave in the summer
and reluctantly let him go. I am delighted that he has chosen to return to us."Liverpool's chance of winning the Premier League appears to be unaffected by the deal, according to the betting odds, with them remaining the second favourites to win the title behind odds-on Manchester United.Keane was arguably the biggest signing of yesterday, with the rumoured deal between Arsenal and Zenit St Petersburg that would see Andrei Arshavin also head to north London still up in the air.In the day's other transfers, Jo moved from Manchester City to Everton on loan, Ricardo Quaresma joined Chelsea from Inter Milan on loan and Wigan Athletic bought Charles N'Zogbia from Newcastle United.
