King ruled out of England games
Tottenham Hotspur defender Ledley King has been ruled out of England's upcoming pair of internationals.The 28-year-old has returned to his club, having originally been included in Fabio Capello's 24-man squad despite a knee injury.England host Slovakia in a friendly on Saturday, before the visit of Ukraine in the fifth match of the World Cup qualifying campaign.And following examination of King by medical staff from Tottenham and the national team, a statement from the FA read: "It has been agreed by both parties that the best interests of the player are served by continuing his individual training programme at the club."Other additions made to the squad included Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard, who return after missing the opening match of the year due to injury.England currently top their qualifying group - having won all four games so far - and are rated at 1/7 to emerge as winners by Expekt.
