Liverpool's title hopes dealt a blow
Liverpool's chances of winning the Premier League have suffered a blow thanks to a 4-4 draw with Arsenal at Anfield.Andrey Arshavin bagged all of the visitors' goals as Rafael Benitez saw his title hopes seriously dented. It had looked as if Liverpool would get nothing from the game, as the Gunners took a 4-3 lead with moments left to play, before Yossi Benayoun salvaged a point with his second of the night in injury time. The result saw Liverpool overtake Manchester United at the top of the table on goal difference, but the champions now have two games in hand - the first of these coming against Portsmouth tonight. And with Benitez's side having just five matches left to play, bookmakers have once again brought in the odds of United defending the trophy. William Hill prices them at 1/6 and spokesman Graham Sharpe remarked: "It looks very much as though it is now United's title to lose."
