Barca made favourites after champions slip

Barcelona have been made favourites for this season's Champions League, following Manchester United's 2-2 draw at home to Porto. The English and European champions fell behind early on at Old Trafford, but struck back through Wayne Rooney. And they looked to have secured victory when Carlos Tevez found the roof of the net with five minutes to play, before Mariano grabbed a late equaliser for the visitors. It means United go to Portugal facing an uphill battle to reach the semi-finals of the tournament, although they are rated at 7/2 by Coral Betting to retain the title.Arsenal are 5/1 third favourites after Emmanuel Adebayor's overhead kick earned Arsene Wenger's side a 1-1 draw at Villareal, while Spanish giants Barcelona - who take on Bayern Munich tonight - are priced 2/1 by Betfred. Also tonight, Liverpool host Chelsea as the Premier League sides meet in Europe for the fifth consecutive season. Both teams are given similar odds of winning the Champions League, but the visitors are outsiders for the first leg at 12/5, with the Reds priced 5/4 in the online football betting market.
