Injuries pave way for Crouch
Fabio Capello is to start Peter Crouch in England's World Cup qualifier this evening, after injury ruled a third striker out of contention. The Portsmouth front man will play alongside Wayne Rooney after Darren Bent limped out of training, with Emile Heskey and Carlton Cole having been injured in the friendly against Slovakia on Saturday. But there is still no place in the squad for Michael Owen, with Aston Villa's Gabriel Agbonlahor being called in as cover for the game against Ukraine at Wembley.England are 2/5 favourites with Paddy Power, as they aim to maintain their 100 per cent record in group six. However, Capello warned that "Ukraine will be dangerous", adding: "We must focus during the game because I have studied them and they are a very tough team."Elsewhere, Wales are set to host Germany tonight, while Scotland and Northern Ireland also play at home, against Iceland and Slovenia respectively.
