Tevez agrees City move
Manchester City have announced that personal terms with Carlos Tevez on a proposed move to the north-west side have been agreed. Once a medical has been completed the Argentine is expected to sign a five-year contract with the club and will wear the number 32 jersey. Manager Mark Hughes commended the player for his top-class ability and remarked that he "could not wait" for the three-time South American player of the year to join the team. He told the club's official website: "[Tevez] is not only outstanding technically but he is a reliable goal scorer and someone who will contribute fully to the team ethic. He gives us another exciting, attacking dimension."Tevez will arrive from Manchester United, where he served for two seasons and scored 34 goals. The 25-year-old is currently 25/1 to be the highest goalscorer in the upcoming Premier League season with bookmaker Skybet (Go to Skybet »).
