Redknapp: I want Huntelaar
Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has admitted he would like to bring Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to the London-based side. Huntelaar only joined the Spanish giants in January this year, but after a summer spending spree at the Bernabeu the Dutch international could be surplus to requirements. Redknapp confirmed the 25-year-old was a "very good goalscorer" and that he was still interested, despite the fact Stuttgart has been courting the former Ajax player. "There's a lot of talk about who I may or may not be after but Huntelaar is the one I like," the Premier League coach said. It is believed that a deal worth approximately £15 between Real Madrid and Stuttgart for the striker has hit a rocky patch after Huntelaar has failed to sign an agreement. Spurs face Liverpool for their first match of the upcoming Premier League season, with William Hill(Go to William Hill »)offering odds of 2/1 on the White Hart Lane team picking up a win. Rafa Benitez's side can be backed at 6/5 with Blue Square(Go to Blue Square »).
